as soon you book, you should always call hotel and confirm. Doesn't matter where and how u booked //@Anonymous: Do not trust Expedia.
I Made and paid for reservations to hotel (in Europe) with Expedia, and when arrived to hotel was told that hotel does not have any connections with Expedia.
