I personally think apple tags are useless for all practical purposes. It is at best works if it is in the same room as your phone. You move to a different location with as minimum as with 2-3 walls it does not work. I had one of these and it was great until those silly push/spin knobs stop working. Then it's a real hassle to repair. The good thing is that you *can* repair it yourself, but it's a lot of work to disassemble the product to the point that you can fix the knobs.
