It's just a regular price, not a deal at all. 7730U , a CPU released 4 years ago, FHD screen..., $499 deserves a laptop with better configurations.

I chew my coffee cherry-beans, just like the herders that originally discovered their goats to be doing. //@Anonymous: And I love my Aeropress. It’s pretty good too! //@anonymous: I love my french press. It makes perfect coffee.

Assuming your controller board does not fry, but only the pump burns, you can in theory find nonworking machines at the local thrift shops so you can get the replacemept parts for cheap.

I bought this in 2014 at Bed & Bath Beyound using 20% off coupon of retail $600. it has been 12 years still going strong.

Get a mechanical machine then, easily last 50 years //@anonymous: there are good reasons why japanese BIFL brands like zojirushi don't make espresso machines. they're never meant to last forever. many can be serviced and repaired. but there are just too many parts that are prone to break/wear out. //@Anonymous: We want our espresso machines to last longer than our marriages, LOL //@Anonymous: machines like this typically lasts 8-10 years. not worth it in my opinion. if you get a real all or semi mechanical machine, it can last some 30-50 years.

This is a great price. I bought the equivalent version back in 2017 and it is still going strong. Daily usage twice a day. I don't always use the steamer but it works good enough. You can't beat this price in 2025.

Do people buy espresso machines for making espresso art and not because they want to drink espresso? We are at a strange moment in history. //@Anonymous: I got one back in 2014 and it is broken after about 3000 cups. Pros said it was about the right life span. This is perfect model to do entry level latte art.

Thanks //@anonymous: It will last a long time if you keep the steam wand clean. I let mine get gunked up and it eventually blew out the pump. Fixing it was going to cost like $300, so I just bought another one and it's been doing great.

The (non-refillable) part is def the deal-breaker. Bought one of these in the grocery years back, and was quite annoyed to find you can't re-use it or even open it to clean before recycling it. What an ignorant design. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK. //@Anonymous: Reasonable price, but they have plastic grinders and are non-refillable.

The eight core N305 used to be sale at this price level, at least the processor would have twice the number of cores.

Just FYI, its ram is soldered and not expandable. Window 11 with 8G ram can easily reach 90%+ memory usage. It is ok for light daily use, e.g. web browsing or watch online streams. But it may not be proper for other purpose. For example, if you are working on your tax report in TurboTax while opening a couple of chrome browser tabs, the ram usage will definitely exceed 90%. Someone may think it can be used on course work. However, opening VSCODE or other IDEs can easily make its ram usage 90%+ as well.
It is with a low-power 4 core CPU N150 which is kindly weak, too.
One should probably spend a little bit more to get a better one.
