Canon lenses are too expensive and short of choices.

That's like seeing a post for diapers on sale and saying I'd rather buy a bottle of vodka. Apples and oranges. These are not interchangeable //@anonymous: I'd rather spend this much money on a new iPhone.

Just some thoughts (I should say, I only have a 15MP camera, so filesizes are maybe not what they'd be for a bigger sensor):
I last grabbed a 32GB compact flash (this same brand). It's been great and it holds a butt-tonne of images, even in RAW.
A colleague/photog mentor shared a comment that made some sense: if you're on a trip somewhere, and you're shooting EVERYTHING on one memory card, and you lose that one memory card, it's a big pain. Possibly better to use smaller capacity cards and spread your work across them just in case..
Of course, there's the argument where, if you lose one, you may lose all of them you have in the same spot/storage. Either way, just consider your options.
I have enjoyed the freedom of the big-ish 32GB card, when I shoot a bunch of stuff at once.

known problem on any card as you could lose your data, 512 for 33 bucks is more reasonable for me.

Dont know why they use a pic of carbon fiber version for an aluminum one

Search by model number, and there's another similar product that shows up, read that instead, I guess. The real question is if you order this cheap tripod, will you get the same one when you search for the model number? The lowest price was $150 ish for that listing //@anonymous: Dont know why they use a pic of carbon fiber version for an aluminum one
