Yes. It will not even work with T-Mobile. Just make sure you do not have auto pay. Activate, use it for couple of days, leave it in the draw. After 180 days it was unlocked. Yes. Just make sure the sim is in and use regularly the first month, then stop paying. Put the phone away for 5 more months, then try to unlock from the setting screen.
