I don't understand how this Costco offer is a great deal. An iPhone 14 Pro Max 128 from Apple is $1099 and AppleCare+ is $199 so the total is $1298 from Apple while Costco its $1270. $28 dollar discount plus maybe Costco / City cash back depending on membership. Am I missing something?

I'm not sure what you mean by the iPhone becomes a country. That's quite a task, but good for Apple if they pulled that one off. If you are implying the eSIM locks the phone to a country, I think that is incorrect and the Apple 14 series eSIM can store at least 8 different eSIM cards. Costco phones are unlocked. //@anonymous: What does this have to do with the Costco deal? I'm thinking about switching to Mint, has anyone had any experiences to share, thank you.

I have mint. Price is unbeatable but coverage is definitely not as good as AT&T, my former ridiculously expensive carrier.

I just responded to the response after yours as well. I'm the one who had originally asked the question because they use T-Mobile towers here where I live.
I just wondered if there will be a difference in the reception that's all. A Mint chat room rep said that it would be approximately $23 a month with all taxes included for the 10 gigabyte plan and the SIM card is included in that if I pay for a year in advance.
Was your experience as financially beneficial as that Thank you.
Thank you for your response that's very kind of you. //@anonymous: Mint has been great for us, with awesome coverage and speed. //@Anonymous: I'm thinking about switching to Mint, has anyone had any experiences to share, thank you.

Mint/t-mobile reception is horrible in California. I used to be t-mobile customer and switched to cricket and I'm so happy with cricket.
Anonymous
Thank you I appreciate your response also. The main reason I want to go with Mint is because it's almost half the price of T-Mobile.
We have Cricket here also but if memory serves me correct my phone wasn't compatible when I went into their store a couple of years ago. //@anonymous: Mint/t-mobile reception is horrible in California. I used to be t-mobile customer and switched to cricket and I'm so happy with cricket.

ATT prioritizes its post-paid customers over prepaid customers. Hence, if there is a high demand for networks, prepaid customers get less or no bandwidth, and most of the bandwidth goes to post-paid customers. This happens especially in big cities. //@Anonymous: why it doesn't work? isn't it the same thing as post paid ATT //@Anonymous: Data doesn't work if you go to crowded places. You get what you pay.

I don't agree. I live in San Francisco. I don't see the difference. Is that you T Mobile? Zero proof of these statements and anyone with network bandwidth experience will know not all network hardware can support 10K+ users at the same time, if at all. //@anonymous: ATT prioritizes its post-paid customers over prepaid customers. I've been a long time so-called "fan" of Google phones, over the years buying Nexus 4, 5, 5X, Pixel 4a and 6. While none of them have been bad, with the worst being 5X developing boot loop after 2 years, I've learned my lessons to never, ever pre-ordering Google hardware. Games nowadays are infamous for their enormous "day-0" patch in attempt to fix their otherwise unplayable POS, Google phones are worse offender of Day-0 bugs.
Save yourself some trouble getting it after Thanksgiving and pray for major bug fixes. You will likely score a better deal too.

This. All companies do this nowadays because consumers are willing to be free beta testers. They only need to spend money in their marketing department and very little in QA.
