I don't understand how this Costco offer is a great deal. An iPhone 14 Pro Max 128 from Apple is $1099 and AppleCare+ is $199 so the total is $1298 from Apple while Costco its $1270. $28 dollar discount plus maybe Costco / City cash back depending on membership. Am I missing something?

If you are implying the eSIM locks the phone to a country, I think that is incorrect and the Apple 14 series eSIM can store at least 8 different eSIM cards. Don't buy TracFone just because it saves a few bucks. I used this exact yearly plan and one day noticed TracFone locked up and forfeit my cell number claiming my number spreads spam text. TracFone customer service refuses to offer any proof and Arbitrarily lock up my number for good, which I had for more than 10 years.

This is definitely not true. It is for an entire year, but very cost effective for emergency use, or very light use. I have tried these 1-year plans before, and they were fine.
NOT FOR HEAVY USE! I just responded to the response after yours as well. I'm the one who had originally asked the question because they use T-Mobile towers here where I live.

I just wondered if there will be a difference in the reception that's all. A Mint chat room rep said that it would be approximately $23 a month with all taxes included for the 10 gigabyte plan and the SIM card is included in that if I pay for a year in advance.

Was your experience as financially beneficial as that Thank you.

I've been a long time so-called "fan" of Google phones, over the years buying Nexus 4, 5, 5X, Pixel 4a and 6. While none of them have been bad, with the worst being 5X developing boot loop after 2 years, I've learned my lessons to never, ever pre-ordering Google hardware. Games nowadays are infamous for their enormous "day-0" patch in attempt to fix their otherwise unplayable POS, Google phones are worse offender of Day-0 bugs.

Save yourself some trouble getting it after Thanksgiving and pray for major bug fixes. You will likely score a better deal too.
