I switched to an android after the iPhone 4 came out and never looked back at iOS. However now my work requires an iOS device to run company apps. I could've just switched back to an iPhone but I just can't stand it anymore. Dude! Have you ever read anything on a 27" FHD monitor? Or compare how fonts look like between 27" FHD and 27" FHD. While it doesn't make much difference for 24" between FHD and QHD because you dont really need QHD on 24", but that extra 3" space make a huge difference. Fonts should be solid and black on 27" QHD but will appear lighter and fading on 27" FHD. I don't get it, why people rant when they dont know jack?? //@anonymous: Yup. Guys, there is a reason why FHD 27" are so cheap compare to FHD 23 or 24". While FHD 23-24" is acceptable but FHD 27" is horrific. Only novice users would buy FHD 27". Please goto Best Buy and bring up Wikipedia on a Web Browser and see the difference between FHD 23/24", FHD 27", and QHD 27". Now, as you know, apple chips are not getting much better, partly because of lack of good engineers and the slow improvement over the 3/4nm node. So... getting M1 pro instead may be a better idea.

Previous gen M1 processors are a better value and should be more than sufficient for 70-80% of all users. If anything, Apple has bad marketing. No professional user is going to buy the MB with low specs, and no average user is going to spend $1.2K+ on it either. They should have significantly lowered the price, or not have an option with 8GB RAM/256GB storage.

1), M1 is super fast with no heat. 2), Mac is very efficient in using memory. I am a programmer converted from PC to MAC ~ 10 years ago, never look back. Of course, I bought a MacBook Pro, but I got a M1 MacBook Air for my son, he is very happy about it.

Your computer RAM is essentially short term memory where data is stored as the processor needs it. Laptop docking station is a thing of the past. What you need now is a USB hub that supports USB C/3.0/charging and HDMI. There are so many of them in the $20-$50 range. This one is too bulky and extremely overpriced. That being said, it supports 5k video or up to three 4k video output. If you need that many UHD output, then this is for you. On the other hand, if you use three 4k monitors, you probably need a monstrous desktop, not a laptop.

This thing is a thing of the past (kinda) because many Monitors come with USB-c charging and display. Just connect keyboard and mouse to Monitor, then only thing you need is a high speed USB-C from monitor to laptop. Of course, if you need more USB to dongles and other things like LAN port, you still need a docking station.

Most of Youtube channels are 720P for HD and nature support of 720P is already called HD projectors for up to 100” screens. There is no practical use for 1080 CAM. Even Zoom only supports 720P with high selective cases for 1080p (event broadcasts).
