I had to google it myself, I travel alot and rely on TripAdvisor reviews and communities to plan trips.
This basically gives you a 10% discount on excursions and activities booked through TripAdvisor, which in my experience are 4-5 times more than you would pay if you booked them yourself through a local company. It also gives you discounts on hotels booked through trip advisor, however I have never found trip advisor to have particularly good deals on hotels either.
It also gives you free access via text message to an expert, however my guess is that this expert is anything but, and is probably a sales agent.
I love TripAdvisor, I have hundreds of reviews across 6 continents, and over 50 countries, however I just don't see the value in the membership.
On the other hand, it is free, you can give it a go to see if the expert advice is worth anything. //@Anonymous: What do you do with a tripadvisor membership?

This is a very common "deal". nothing major. I do like their 40% off deals. They are usually on MOST flights. The $49 sale doesn't apply to all routes. I went through their website, I'd say 75% of the routes are NOT part of this deal.

*Offer expires 1/2/2023. Uber One gift can only be redeemed for one 6-month or one 12-month Uber One membership (you cannot currently give a monthly membership as a gift). Recipients will have up to one year after the date of the gift purchase to redeem their gift ("Redemption Period"). If the recipient is an existing Uber One member, they may also redeem the gift for Uber Cash equivalent to the original purchase price during the Redemption Period. You will be charged for the gift, plus applicable taxes, when you place your order.
Uber will send your gift recipient redemption instructions. If the gift isn't redeemed during the Redemption Period, the gift automatically converts to Uber Cash, equivalent to the original purchase price of the recipient's Uber One gift, which can be used on Uber or Uber Eats. If the recipient chooses to cancel their membership prior to the expiration of the gifted Uber One membership, neither you nor the recipient will be refunded the value of the remaining membership period. However, the recipient will still have Uber One benefits for the duration of the gift period.

Adding "Other fees" on top of the delivery fees, then offer membership to "save" on these fees. Not to mention 30-40% that uber takes from the restaurants. CEO takes home $20 million annually while drivers get a few dollars for each trip they make. Everyone suffers; drivers, customers, restaurants, but the company executives. They should all go to hell.

Smarter to cook at home 100% agree! In Seattle the city adds their own additional taxes and "hazard" fees on top. Ordering a 21$ meal costs over 50 before driver tip. 'Merica

I'm not talking about the tip. I tip at least $5 for $15 foods from the restaurants within a mile away. I'm complaining about these "other fees" and the 30-40% cut that they take from the restaurants. Drivers deserve tips especially when the gas prices are skyrocketing, but not the executives in tens of millions of dollars. //@Anonymous: Cheaper to either cook at home or order for pickup. They price gouge Uber One members. I tried it for one month, and compared the prices to my other account (I had two phone numbers and two Uber accounts). Every single time, the account with Uber One had a higher price after discount than the other account without the so-called Uber One discount.
