I’ve been with Verizon Fios for several years and each time I’m up for renewal I ask about these deals. For the most part they will try to give credits that make the price the same but only last for about a year. The best fix I’ve found is if you have an account with them, you can cancel and reopen in another name (i.e. spouse, roommate, etc.) and get these “new” customer deals. They give you the options online with looking for service even if the home already has service there under another name. I’ll never leave so long as that’s in place!! Hope this helps.

I have currently 100/100 for 39.99 for past two months. I called Verizon and was able to switch to 200/200mbps for same price. It's a flat fee no additional charges. I can not believe Verizon is still doing this advertisement at this time. My scheduled installation is suspended for their employee and customer's saftey. I am not given a timeline when the technician can come to install. And I am not allowed to do self-installation although there are verizon boxes inside and outside of the house and technician says they should be working. I do not know when I can get the service.

If you are tied up with a 2 year’s contract and barely use the TV box..: you can call them and they send you a UPS box and label to return it. That will save you and $12.99 a month... which can pay for Amazon Prime or HULU or any streaming subscription

After 2 years, the basic service fee went up over $70 for 100 mbps. Called Verzion yesterday, I was told no deal to apply and told me that I can cancel at any time. After I got a deal with local provider and called for cancellation, they immediately send me an email to ask for stay with Verizon for $44.95/mo for a 2 year contract.

My internet supposed to be self installation. First day of service did not work. Chatted with CS and they send technician next morning. Technician had to get into the house to fix the point. Apple TV is one of the best if not the best streaming device. No lag. Apps open seamlessly. Easy to navigate. And importantly performance stays same year after year. Buy one if you are using anything else and you will never go back.

I use air play a lot. So far the best experience I have is still with Apple TV. Agree. Apple is notorious for stopping support so it does not make seem logical to spend Apple money on a Apple TV when you get get very similar (maybe better) experience with Fire Stick or Roku. Why I don't think Fire TV or ROKU works better than an Apple TV, after owning every model of Apple TV, Fire TV Stick and some ROKUs, I would be hard pressed to say pay $149 for what my Fire TV stick 4K gave me for $25 (black friday).
