The seller then initiated a return process and also told me that they had already shipped a replacement, which I should receive in 3–5 days. So this past Saturday I contacted Amazon customer service again, and the representative filed an Amazon A-to-z Guarantee claim for me. A couple of minutes ago I received a message that my credit card got the refund, but the return shipping cost was not included. I believe if you are facing the same issue with the seller, just contact Amazon directly. According to customer service, you don’t even need to ship the glue stick back to get the refund. In my humble opinion, Amazon did a great job handling this.
