Placed an order on 9/19 which says "Arrives by 9/22". Not shipped as of 9/22 with a notice of back order.
I cancelled that order and ordered a different color this morning (9/22) which says "free next day delivery". It says "arrives by 9/23". It has not been shipped out yet. We will see in a day.

Update: It is 2 PM on 9/23/2020 and the order status changed from "Arrives by Wed. Sep 23" to "Delayed—check back later for status update" on walmart.com. I ordered from BestBuy and asked for price match and they did and it’s arrived in 2 days from the time of ordered. Because the price didn't drop as the previous years. I instead purchased a 10.1" Hyundai tablet from Best Buy for only $89, and inserted a 256GB micro SD ($20 from Amazon). It works just fine because I use pad only for web surfing and youtubing.

Apple's computer sale number has been declining month after month from their quarterly earning report. Loosing the market in very steady pace. Yet they keep feed us these 8GB ram machine costing you over 1K. I am in the market for a new laptop but I refuse to pay for such ridiculous specs. Why they never learn.

Yes, we all could. Like we could pay $10 gallon gas like everyone does in Europe. But that won't make you feel good. In fact, you feel frustrated. Same here. I could pay $2000 for a better specs Macbook. But it will make me feel being taken advantage of, being treated unfairly by Apple.
