Agree. Apple is notorious for stopping support so it does not make seem logical to spend Apple money on a Apple TV when you get get very similar (maybe better) experience with Fire Stick or Roku. Definitely the cheaper alternative and you do not loose as much money when they are no longer supported. //@Anonymous: in couple of years the tech and hardware will be obsolete and apps STOP supporting the devices. so don't expect beyond 2 year or so life for these devices. //@Anonymous: Disagree. I use air play a lot. So far the best experience I have is still with Apple TV.
