You may be right. But I have been using Premier for years due to stock transactions. Maybe get Deluxe first, and if there’s any issues with stocks, pay Intuit a fee to upgrade to Premier? Next year you’ll know which version to get. //@anonymous: I don’t think it’s necessary, but please correct me if I’m wrong. For the desktop version, TurboTax includes all tax forms. If you receive a 1099-MISC (or 1099-B) from your brokerage, you can simply enter the form manually or import it directly from your brokerage account (prefer). In most cases, the brokerage already calculates the capital gains and losses.
