Not true. At least the self check out machine has an option of scanning QR code. You may need to use the scanning gun though. Much easier to use than before //@anonymous: Using it at Safeway would be a nightmare! No cashier or manager knows how to use it and you can't use it at self checkout as well. Definitely avoid!
