I personally think apple tags are useless for all practical purposes. It is at best works if it is in the same room as your phone. You move to a different location with as minimum as with 2-3 walls it does not work. It’s been 4 years since the AirPods 2 have been released and mines still work now when bought on release. //@anonymous: These are suppose to be disposal items at the end. Even when you send these in for repair or battery, they just dispose of them and issue a new pair. Basically the cost to repair/refurbish is not worth the cost of the item. With that in mind, there are plenty of alternative BT ear buds that offer the same sound quality at a fraction of the cost. Hands free. Follows you around as you move. Great when you have multiple people in the frame instead.
