I have been using Apple TV since its inception and have also used Roku fire stick and Google Android version streaming players and the nothing can beat Apple TV. This a very good price to get.

Just bought this brand but a RGB version from Bestbuy. Bestbuy is selling the RGB version for $160, while most of other sellers are selling for ~$230. Bought on 1/8/21, says pick up on 1/19/21. Performance-wise, it about the same as the Yeti Pro, but the RGB one is more beautiful I think.

Why are these so expensive? It is essentially a printer.

Market share? Fewer people buy these, I assume, which means lower demand to defray overhead. Also, I suspect the ink/toner is of a different, more expensive composition to account for the use, and the mechanisms must handle heavier media. Kind of makes sense to me, though I am no expert in ANY OF THESE FIELDS... //@Anonymous: Why are these so expensive? It is essentially a printer.

all label printers use thermal transfer technology, no ink/toner consumption at all, the thermal transfer has the advantage of low consumable cost and fast printing, but the downside is considerably low printing resolution. And the thermal mechanism dominated most of its cost. This dual printer model should be used in a fast pace environment like takeout counter to double printer efficiency and at this price point, this one is unbeatable //@Anonymous: Market share? Know what you are buying. People going to realize how lame and gimmicky this is after a few days. The wheels will clog up with hair and dust and need constant cleaning. Most families don't have enough space to have a proper creative track in their house. And you have to lay down the track and break it up. Unless you have an empty room dedicated to for this toy. It's not worth it and will definitely start collecting dust after people get tired of it within days.

The concept is nice but reality the game getting boring if you play offline within a few days. Besides the space you can create a course to run around. Imagine you stop playing for a few hours. Do you clean up the mess you made? What about the next day you play. Make another course over and over.

Know your usage before buying. This is a poor choice for every-day OS drive or as an upgrade for your PS5 due to dram-less QLC. But it's perfect for me trying to custom-build a NAS and need something small and cheap to boot up TrueNAS.
