Don't buy it if you don't need it. I paid ~$130 for a 500G one 5 years ago. It has been collecting dust most of the time since.

Just because most people bought 2TB version. The control circuit has serious hardware issues, not the SSD. //@Anonymous: most complaints are from 2TB version. it seem 2TB ones got lots of failures. so please check and do more research before purchasing them.

i bought three 4tb and two 2tb of them as a photographer, i fill them on a daily basis....2tb are dead, didnt even make it 6 months, before files went missing or corrupt. two of the 4tb developed same issues just took 9-10 months....sandisk replaced them all, and i sold the new ones they sent me. changed over to a usb-c nvme enclosure and nvme drives, no issues. //@Anonymous: Just because most people bought 2TB version. Used it for a while already and there is no thermal throttle issue like the 14” version. Fast, quiet and smooth like a butter. //@anonymous: The reviews ain't even out yet, as the release date is next Tues, r u tripping... //@Anonymous: Review shows it gets overhead quickly and throttling like crazy. Just bought this brand but a RGB version from Bestbuy. Bestbuy is selling the RGB version for $160, while most of other sellers are selling for ~$230. Bought on 1/8/21, says pick up on 1/19/21. Performance-wise, it about the same as the Yeti Pro, but the RGB one is more beautiful I think.

One guy from Amazon wrote in his review that the box "has zero expansion capabilities". It has no additional slots. If it's true it's better to go with mini PC because of lower price and box takes less space.

That review is right, I got the exact PC. There is no extra power line for any hard drive. I think only possible expansion might be 64G ram when you replace both memory dim. //@anonymous: One guy from Amazon wrote in his review that the box "has zero expansion capabilities".
